I'm finally in paint after 5 years!

Still needs clear coated and buffed. Enjoy...

......EYE CANDY!!!!!!

Just doesn't get much sweeter does it? With the clear she's gonna pure Pontiac crack.

I noticed your custom Pontiac in back. Interesting touch

Too bad you don't live closer, I'd have parked my car next to yours just to catch some overspray! Mine could use some new paint. lol

Donovan,

Thanks! Yeah, I like small custom touches. You know, the kind that you stumble on as you're looking the car over -- not so much the "in your face" kind. The other "Trans Am" lettering is all painted on too.

John

How big of a garage is that? I'm impressed, especially if you didn't PO the neighbors.

Congrats!

Do you have any pictures of the Trans Am lettering that you can post?

You can barely see the "Trans Am" on the fender in the 1st pic. I'll get some better shots today, including the spoiler.

I purchased the stencil kit but didn't use it. Instead, the stripes were done by hand and for $30 a local graphics shops made actual stencils to use for the lettering (the stencil kit only had decals for the lettering).

John, I had MAJOR problems with the stencil kit and warned others on this board to stay away from them. Cost me over 2 grand to undo what it did to my car. Old or overheated stencils is what I had basically gotten and heard this before and I did not heed the warning. They were wrong on spacing on various parts, roof to mention one area. Paint leached under them as well and had to be redone. Hand taping them is the way to go in my book. Good Job !!!

I purchased the hood from Terry Ritter in Fort Lauderdale. See http://www.firebirdman.com/index.htm

The stencils were made by a local graphics shop. $30 total, and that included duplicates! Much better than using the decals IMO. Now that the clear is on you can't even feel the letters

I would be interested in a set of stencils if they are available. Are you going to have stencils made for the the Ram Air on the hood too?
