Default Hedman Header Advice

I just ordered a set of Hedman Headers (ceramic coated) for my 68FB with a 400 and manual trans. This was the brand that the owner of a local performance shop recommended. Any feedback (good or bad) from those of you who live and breath this stuff would be appreciated. Are these decent headers? Did they bolt on with limited difficulty? Has the ceramic coating held up? Thanks very much.

Topless, They go on pretty easy and have good ground clearance if you are talking D port headers. I ran a set, can't remember part # but I was pleased. Good luck.

Later, Murf

don't get any oil on them while they're hot. I always wipe down ceramic headers with denatured alcohol after working on the car. If you do get oil cooked on, take some 0000 steel wool and buff with denatured alcohol. The sooner the better after seeing the oil on the tubes.
