Location of VIN # for 1979 Trans Am
I am new to this forum, one of my friends has a doubt on a Pontiac 1979 Tran Am which he has recently purchased, he is suspecting that it may be stolen.
So can anyone help me with telling me all the locations on which the VIN # is stamped, to make sure that they are all identical. THANKS |

There are one or two "hidden VIN" under the heater/AC box in the engine compartment. There should be one at the round blower fan opening and sometimes there is a second under the heater core opening.
