Default Good Rule of Thumb Fuel Line

Hey,

Need to ask a question, replacing my old 3/8 tubing fuel line. What size to you suggest I use from fuel cell to filter, filter to pump, pump to reg, reg to carb. 650 hp 950 carb. later a 250 shot of Nitrous. Thanks

1/2" is what i used.

also keep in mind that most regulators have an inside oriface size of .220, which is less than 1/4"

doesn't do much good to run larger fuel line if you run the small Holley regulator.

i have the big Holley regulator, and it has a .437 oriface.

BTW, i bought my fuel line in an anodized blue roll made by Moroso for about $29

a buddy og mine found some plain silver aluminum 1/2" line at the local hardware store. i'm sure it was even cheaper.

-8an all the way at the minimum. make sure you run the same size return as the feed line if you run a return.

the faster you go the more fuel you will need..... I run #12 up to front of car to regulators down to #8
