Default Under hood insulation.

Under hood insulation.
Does anybody supply it pre-cut ??
Would 72 Nova fit 72 Ventura ?
I believe the only difference in the hood is the Nova wraps over the grille and the Ventura stops flush to the grille.
My Ventura does not have any at all.
Hope they are the same structurally.

This is on a 78 Firebird Formula with a light blue interior. Its the plastic buckle cover in the circle. The few that I have found in salvage yards are the same or worse than mine---cracked.

Default big car parts

How about the trunk pans, braces, front fender & rear 1/4 patch panels for 65-66 big cars. Maybe produce the parts some how to be generic to more than a couple different years/styles. Dave K.

I'm gonna ask again for '67 LeMans / Tempest grilles. I know it's a big job, but there's a lot of these cars out there and not everybody wants to convert theirs into a GTO clone

It'd also be nice to see the "PONTIAC" emblem that goes between the taillights on 66 & 67 LeMans/Tempest reproduced. I'm glad we've finally got the 67 LeMans shark gills - we could really use these.

I second, third, fourth or WHATEVER the request for 4 speed consoles for '65-'66 A-bodies.
Also sure would be nice to see someone produce REAR BUMPERS for '66 GTO's, too.

Default cleaning out the topic

Is there any way to get this topic down to maybe 10 pages or less?? Maybe just 2005 posts and this year. Pain to go thru all the posts from years back!!! Thanks Dave K.

a couple parts I would like to see are the '66-67 vinyl top trim clips for the trim that goes around the sail panel area. These are a relatively small metal clip that I know many have search high and low to find a good used set.

Also, the replacement washer pumps are, in my opinion, pieces of junk. I would like to see the washer pump diaphram repo'd.

Thumbs up oil filter housing for gto

I would like to see a brand new oil filter housing made. They are famous for warping the bolt face that mounts to the block, hence an oil leak.

Default 67 GTO Parts Needed to be Reproduced

67 GTO parts needed:

Complete center console Auto and 4 speed

Correct black washer fluid bottle ( without having to relocate bottle)

A/C Core Support

Better quality repo Rally gauges

Rear stainless trim pieces and clips for vinyl top cars

I could go on and on.

ONe of the most needed of parts are sometimes the small things. Correct clips and fasteners for 67 GTO's. ONe to note, is the 67 only clip that holds the rear trunk trim molding in place. Those will be well excepted. Enough so in fact, I have considered making some myself as a test of the market for them. And also the 67 GTO rear rocker molding clips. BUying nice after-market parts or NOS parts is of little good, if you can get the clips that hold them to the car am I right? Good day. Mike
