Default How Big can I go

Hello; I have a 1965 GTo that I plan to put a set of Ralley I wheels on I plan on puting 15 x 8 on the back and 15x7 on the front . I would also like to use a set of red line tires size 235x15x75 . Will they fit? If so could I go bigger with tires on the rear. I guess what I'm asking is how big of a tire can you go to before they rub using the 15x7 & 15x8 rims .

Thanks

Welcome to the board.

If you do a search for "15" wheels on a 65 GTO" I think you'll find some useful info, plus some cool pics as well.

I have a set of 15 x 8's on my '65 with redlines by Diamond Back--on the front I could only go with 215R70's and the back with 225R70's. Trying the 225's on the front would rub at the front of the fender well when turning. Hope this helps. Cap
