Cool

1. Sorry that I got to this thread so late!

2. Whether or not you have achieved the correct shade of charcole grey is a question that may debated from now until we are all forced to drive Hybrid Toyotas!

3. The answer is to color code your Rally II's to the exterior color of your car. My '68 GTO is Meridian Turquoise and my Rally II's are also Meridian Turquoise.

4. In '68 the Rally II's were optional equipment and color coding your Optional Rally II's was an additional option. Of the 12 color choices available for the GTO, 6 of the colors were avaiable for the Rally II's.

5. Forget about the Charcole Grey and paint your wheels the same color as the exterior of your car.

I blasted my rims down to bare metal, coated with a self etching primer, and did them up with duplicolor's wp101 (silver) and wp102 (graphite). They both have a very fine metallic, and the paint flowed exceptionally well for a very smooth finish. I am totally happy with how it turned out, and it looks more eye catching than the factory untouched R II's I have.

I'll put up some pics in in a handful of hours when I get home.
