Time for you to make a trip from Florida with something and come visit!

I agree that the fast DR guys are making more HP but don't run down the man for trying with his new set-up....

Good numbers anyway, and hope the car runs well.

TOM, I stated that I was impressed. Especially starting out. Just saw he was going to run DR and stock suspension and what the numbers they are currently making. Nothing about my car or anything. Why are you taking shots at me? Why is John taking shots at me?

This is why I quit posting on a regular basis.

OK, who's next to hammer the dude, Yeech..........

Don't be hatin.

Dude,

I only took it as a little friendly jab in the side...nothing more!

Silver,

I plan on driving it on the street. I do want to compete in the MSD True Street competition, so I couldn't set the motor on kill NA.

Poncho,

Here's the specs on my motor:

CID: 477-IA2 block
Crank: Moldex billet crank 3" mains and 4.00" stroke
Rods: Oliver 6.8 BBC-2.200 journal
Piston: Custom Ross blower piston- 4.350
Heads: Edelbrock 87cc-flow 325cfm (ported by BES)
Cam: Custom solid roller
Rockers: Jesel rocker shaft system (1.65 ratio)
Intake: Victor (ported)
Carb: Holley 4150, 850 cfm (CSU )
Bonnet: CSU (Carburetor Solutions Unlimited)
Blower: ATI Procharger F-2, custom bracketry by BOP Engineering
Headers: 2" primary, 3.5" collector (Mad Dog Headers)
Exhaust: 4" w/ flowmasters & turndowns
Compression: 9:1

The combo in going in my 69 bird with a T-400 w/transbrake. I'm not using an intercooler. I heard to many stories about people having waaayyy to many problems with them and blow-thru's. The heads are standard e-heads that were ported by BES (Bischoff Engine Service).

Question

Wasn't even a jab. Confused????

I'm not making 1600 hp, but those Turbo Fords and 632 cu.in. plus Chevy boys are with DR's & stock suspension in heads up deals.

Anyway. Good luck and it looks like you'll be flying next year. And the Hot Rod Memphis deal in the spring might be in your future. ??????

Later.

Just thought I would bring this up for the guys looking for big chamber heads with boost. 1100HP with a blow thru carb and E heads. Not too shabby!

And that wasn't even at my max shift point. I couldn't go that high because of fuel supply issues. Probably got another 200-300 HP in her once the fuel situation is ironed out!

Thanks for the props!

WOW. Less timing and more boost. Aside from the c16 gas, That is the best & proper route for pump gas-o-line.

What is your calculated static compression ratio?

Brian, (Bad69Bird), Kenny is real sensitive when Langer is hammering his butt so you have to be polite with him sometimes.

All in all he is a good guy who knows how to get down the track with NOS on street tires. He has had a lot of practice.

Every year to drum up controversy over the winter the board will have a urination contest between two or three pontiac racers so there will be a "shoot-out" in the spring.

"Rash vs The Dude", "Lil' Jack vs the Dude", "Ray Cox vs the Dude", etc. etc. This year it will be "Langer vs the Dude"

No harm intended, bring your stuff to VMI or to Norwalk and have some fun.

Tom V.
