Default DEER WARNING SYSTEMS FOR PONTIACS

A well know fellow forum member needs help in designing a cool looking Deer Warning System for Pontiacs, preferably early Trans Ams. There must be enough talent out there that can advise and devise such a system that looks Pontiac specific and will draw envious looks at cruise nights. I am working the design for a gun rack for GTO's that can be adapted to the Trans Am, but am stuck on the deer warning system. While the name of the person in need remains anonymous, the design will be installed and tested in New Hampshire. Anyone got some designs in mind? Does Butler, Ames or Year One carry such things?

My buddies Flow masters are a good deer warning system on his 77 T/A and would love to see the gun rack when finished. I am now very scared to go to new hampshire...lol...jk

The only effective deer collision preventer is behind the wheel.
You could have deer wearing red vests and waving flags at cars and some drivers would hit them anyway.

After a friend converted a '67 GTO to 4 wheel drive, he would take it hunting, and he just tossed the guns on the dash and between the front seats. You could I guess make a pad using velcro strips, and some bracket for between the seats, or look at the police equipment offerings. As for deer warning, just put a kick-butt stereo in it and crank it everywhere you go, and/or loud exhuast...

Oh, forgot to ask, do the guns need to be accessible from the driver's seat? (Dare we say spot-lighting!?!) Could make a cool rack for in the trunk...

Screw the deer warning system. Go ahead and hit them. Then all you need is a flame thrower system for the exhaust. Let's eat!

how many rednecks can fit on one page??

if you're serious, designtech makes a small 12V powered ultrasonic/sonic emitter that purports to have some effectivelness.

i have them in a couple of my cars; no critter murders yet, and putting it mildly, my area is INFESTED with deer

I put a set of those deer whistles on my Formula, as I make a weekly drive through some heavily deer infested areas in the wee hours. I have never hit one in the 4 years I've done this drive, but I noticed that the deer foraging on the side of the road would look up as I came by after installing the whistles!

I got a good idea, you could design a dash mounted gun rack that can have the rifles removed wile still driving. Never mind the sound of your exhaust at a set of lights, wait until they get a look at the rack...lol

I'm doing my part to thin the herd.
If only Lil Jack would step up and quit molesting sheep.

SpeedShopMike, thanks for doing your part to keep the "critter" murders down. I, for one, appreciate it.
