63 Wiper motor interchange?
Anyone know if wiper motors from other pontiac models fit a 63 tempest?

Wiper motor interchange
Hollander Interchange manual shows two wiper motors for 63 Tempest, 1 speed and 2 speed. The 2 speed wiper motor was also used in 63 Buick Special and 63 Olds F85 (except JetFire model). The single speed motor was only used on the Tempest and the 63 Olds F85 (except JetFire). In either case the washer pump can be added to or removed from the wiper motor.
Looks like bad luck to me as this motor seems to be a one year part. |

I just bought a 2 speed from Ken at East-West.Had it in stock.Not cheap,think it was $55 or so.Tom

Ken at East-West always has what you need. The price is not always cheep but the fact that you get the right parts alway plays in there for me.

I have a 2 speed wiper motor for 63 Tempest, new in the box from GM. This part is listed for 63 Tempest only in the Pontiac parts books. Price is $75 plus shipping.
