Scott- That's good news about the head gaskets.
UPS left a pick-up notice on my door this morning before I was up. As I told you, I'd just as soon keep the exhaust gaskets, so I didn't have them ready for pick-up. Is there some way Summit can simply bill me for them? If so, I'll just ignore the UPS pick-up. Let me know.
Thanks, Jack Gifford

Scott- I actually have the head gaskets in hand!
Thanks!
(Now I need to learn to spell Summit with just one 't')!

I have been buying from Summit for the past 15 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. I live in PA and have my items within 2 days, often even the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just got some stuff last week and they even threw in a free hat. I would, however, as mentioned like to see them carry a few more pontiac items.

I get a lot of stuff from Summit also.
I find it strange that with so many Firebirds manufactured in 1979 that there are so many parts NoT made for that year such as the Goodyear Hi-Miler hose kits.
back to thread subject:
Summits online search engine is light years ahead of others. Makes it way more easier to find what your looking for.
Jegs has been frustrating/aggrivating.

Just to add my .02 cents worth.. First off. Scott is honest and doesn't play games with customers. He's bailed me out twice at Norwalk now. He brought some parts to me I really needed to race at Norwalk. UPS delivery time was questionable.. He didn't have to do this but I appreiated it very much..no parts= no race.
