Do all factory crankshafts have provision for pilot bushing? Bushing I have is a little larger than hole, too big to just beat in. Is pilot bearing smaller? Thanks Tom.

Some cranks in automatic cars were not machined for a pilot bearing. I have had two of them.

Some of the blocks used in auto trans cars were not fully machined for a pilot bearing. Any machine shop that does crank work can drill it for you.
