I haven't received my copy either.
OH Wait!!!
I forgot to ask if any of you could send me a copy.
This sounds like a really great program you folks have come up with.
I'm only afraid of what my wife would do if she had any idea how much I've sunk into my bird.

But if one of you could send me a copy it really would be much appreciated

Everyone's spreadsheet is waiting in my 'Out Box' -- I'm having problems with my mail server for some reason tonight.

Hang on....

I think Marty gets his for free

Could I bug you for a copy while you're at it? I'm going this weekend for my 1st car and if things work out I'll be in business. Does this program have the ability to lock out the wife? She doesn't have a clue what I'm getting us into, I'm guess it'll be 2 times my estimate but I did plant a seed concerning a garage in the back yard.
Thanks John

John and Don,

You guys are way ahead of the curve. I've thought about putting a spreadsheet together, but never got around to it. Any chance I can get a copy of your Excel file too? I have manila folders stuffed with receipts and it would be great (and scary) to see where all the money has gone.

Thanks!
Mark

I'm telling you guys, you don't really want to keep track of all the $$ you'll spend. It'll make you sick.

However, if you are going to keep track of the expenses, you can gauge your success by this rule of thumb. If you spend less than $25k including the price of the car, you did pretty good.

Andre,

I put it together less for keeping track of what I've spent than to inventory what I need and to help plan the purchases.

Since this is my first resto I also have many first-time tool purchases. I want to be able to generally see how much is going for tools and what's going for parts. Supplies I'm not tracking at all -- even though they seem add up in a hurry.

If anyone has any feedback on improving the sheet please let me know.

Thanks,

John

Well, I am surprised at the number of requests for the Spreadsheet.

My version of the Spreadsheet is now available for download at my web site listed below.
It is a fresh, black version with all my data removed.

Enjoy !
