Will 1.65 rockers work on a 1978 T/A 400? How much will they help?

As with so many questions about our family of Pontiac engines, there are no quick and clean answers to your questions. You may want to go to this site and review the entire article concerning higher lift rocker arms. Especially note the section about "Safety", because in most cases, the valve springs will need replacement, and the push rod holes through the head will need modification. Jim Hand.
