Anyone have real time experience with this Cam? It's close to the 068 with a little more lift. I'm going to put it in a 72 Formula 400 + .030 with flattop TRWs, cast rods shot peened, polished and balanced, #13 heads w/ 1.65 Oem rockers,SS valves, CompCam 988-16 springs and 10 dgree keepers, Performer intake, stck Q-jet, Comp Headers, Th400 w/2000 stall and Hurst Hot Shift 2 kit, A/C. Mufflers are undecided. I will use a single transverse dual in and dual out unit on my existing stock plumbing. Maybe Dynomax. 3.08 rear and currently working on a 3.42 posi rebuild. I'll run 15x7 275-60 BFG Drg radials on rear(sometimes)and 14x7 235 Firehawks on the front Comments or suggestions welcomed. I know this is not a "killer combo" but would like to know how it will perform and what ET's to expect?
Cam Specs:
GRIND NUMBER: P XE256H-10
INT / EXH
LIFT .447 / .455
DURATION @050 212 / 218
LOBE SEPARATION 110

Joe

Sounds like you have a nice street combo! You could see the low 13's more than likely! I am running a little bigger combo as follows: 72 400, #16's ported & matched, TRW Forged pistons(.040), same rods w/milodon bolts, balanced bottom end, the motor will be @ 10.5:1, running a th400 w/3200 stall and 410 posi 10 bolt, I am using a torker intake and 780 vac. sec. Holley w/upgraded fuel delivery from tank to carb. I was told I should be able to attain mid 12's with this combo!?!? I have this combo in a 74 GTO weighing @3400 lbs.

Any problems with vacuum? I'm running an A/C. I'll yank the belt when I hit the track. I have two more cams a little more radical on the shelf. I decided to run close to stock with a little "edge" over the factory 067. I'm guesstimating 10.5 - 10.8 C/R with a zero deck. I should prime the pump in a couple of weeks. I'll be happy with 13's (for now)
