When connecting the motor mount to the frame bracket do I need a large washer in addition to the bolt and lock washer. The lock washer will not pull through however it is not much larger than the bracket hole. I dont't need my new 455 trying to do bodywork to my hood LOL.

Don't know if it is required but I use a washer and lock washer assembly. Sure can't hurt. Alan

The factory washer is pretty big and has serrations to dig into the frame mount. I think a lock washer alone would let it move around some.

I haven't found one that is specifically for it, but I used the Mr. Gasket #914 ? maybe #915 Crank to flex plate bolts. 1/2" X 7/8" long I think.
The washer I got at Classic Industries. Spendy, but they fit! Put them on last night!
