I'm looking for a good series of quadrajet, preferably with the two vacuum choke diaphragms, to fit a street 455 ('68 LeMans).
Could anyone recommend particular series numbers? And would an 800cfm seem a better choice than 750cfm for a pump gas street 455?

You should probably just stick with a 68-70 Q-jet. Everything bolts right up. (choke, hoses and air cleaner). No real difference between a 455 non H.O. carb and a 400 carb. Just jets & metering rods. Try and stick with a Rochester Q-jet. Stay away from Carter Q-jet(usually poor throttle body castings) 800 cfm 71 carb is a great carb if you need the extra performance and are willing to pay the big price difference.
