My Judge did not come with one, at least there has been none on the car since I bought it in '94. I periodically think about putting one on--my question is, the black ones you see for sale (like PY), are they to be just bolted on or do they require prep and paint? I guess there are holes in the lower valence that the spoiler bolts to? What kind of bolts/nuts are stock?

Just bolt it on. I have the PY unit on mine. The finish on it is gloss and it lined right up. An easy upgrade.
