This is just a short message to get things under way. Chris asked me to moderate this topic since I own a number of 1959 and 1960 Pontiacs. I have also been in the Pontiac parts business for over 10 years. Some questions I am often asked which might be good topics:
Are there any headers available to fit fullsize Pontiacs?
Where can I get door panels and seat covers?
What about floors and trunk floors?
Where can I get suspension parts?
Is there a book that has good information to aid in my restoration.

Door panels are hard to find in decent condition. The vinyl usually dries up and cracks. SMS, a company in Oregon that advertises in Hemmings Motor News can reproduce most door panels. They do very nice work.

I recently bought an Offenhauser 2x4 intake manifold with waterneck. I bought it as a '65 up style, imagine my surprise when I opened the box. This has the round ports for the exhaust crossover - can someone tell me exactly what years it fits? I don't need it so I can let it go for $150 plus shipping.

I just purchased a '59 Catalina. I need a fuel pump and master cylinder (or seal kit). Where do I start trying to find these parts? Are there some companies dedicated to these old cars like there are for the Firebirds and GTO's? Thank you for any info!

I have a 1960 Sierra Copper Catalina 4 door sedan with fawn colored Granny type seat covers and would really like the Ventura or Bonneville type covers now that the originals are getting thin. Anyone have a source for them?

Actually things such as fuel pumps & brake parts are not that hard to find...even at your local NAPA store. I'm sure you will have to have them ordered in as they won't be stocking items. You may need to find a GOOD parts person that can read a catalog as I doubt it will be on file in the computer.. Be sure and have all YOUR information before going to store.
I kept most of my NAPA catalogs when I quit working for NAPA...I usually just take the part numbers in with me !! Ignition , belts/hoses ,bearings & seals, fuel system kits, & a lot of suspension parts can be had to..
I deal with NAPA as I am familar with their lines but have found parts at Advance Auto also...

I have bought from them for my 59. Very nice stuff. I would go back to them in a heartbeat.
