What is the best practice to get these out? At 20-25 bucks, I hope to re-use it.

I have tried but never trusted it, you would probably be better off replacing it, just my thought.

Removing one usually means destroying it in the process.

Buy a new one.

It is an interference fit and if you take it out you cant reuse it. It will pop out if used over.

You can JB-Weld epoxy it back in and it will hold for 10+ years (mine did)...without fuss.

Stick a long 3/8" (maybe it was 5/16") bolt into it. Slide-hammer it out with weight & light chain attached. I held the bolt-head side-offset in the waterhole while drifting the weight.

I reused mine, use hardening Permatex when you reinstall. -Jim
