I'm looking for info on Pontiac factory headers. Specifically, what's still available to buy new, which ones breathe the best, and rough costs. It doesn't matter what year they are from as long as they are Pontiac, and will fit in a '65 full size. If there's an equivelent aftermarket header that looks similar to any factory header, that's also an option.
Thanks!

Long branch manifolds should fit. They fit 1st gen F-bodies,B-bodies and 69-72 G-bodies.Close to headers in performance with none of the headaches. You will need a oil filter arm kit to go with them.

Call Paul at Ram Air Restorations, 800-421-8455. He is a good guy and will hook you up with some new reproductions.

Pontiac long branch headers were an option on 65 2+2's but you must use the bent oil filter adapter.

Thanks for the info guys. I was looking at some other posting about a bunch of PY members going in on an order for "Doug's Headers". I was curious, but a 3" collector? Sheesh! It'd be cool as hell, but for what I'll be running (no more than 350 HP) isn't a 2.5" collector adequate?
The long branch headers sound like a great option instead of using the old stock manifolds. I'm guessing they're $350 to $400.

The Long branch will give you 15hp over the "log" type manifolds.
