I bought a set of CAT H-Beams off of Ebay and they came with bolts that say MSA 008 on the heads. Anybody know what the torque spec or stretch guage spec is on these bolts?
Thanks
Daniel

A C.A.T. product off of ebay? now why would you think it may not be perfectly dimentioned?

I was thinking of buying the CAT rods off of E-Bay myself- they are supposed to be new and are less $$ than from CAT- I did wonder how they could be, maybe a mass volume dealer buying with a discount??- Is there something wrong with them?

Cat went in with 2 other major warehouses to buy their shipments from overseas as the quantites require a lot of moola to get shipped here. But they are finished overseas too.
Eagles are finished here. I do not buy from Cat. Did years ago and got burn't with their products and quality.
Got 2 cranks here that need a light bob weight to bring into balance.
Forget the flywheel deal, and the beat goes on.
As far as the rods? Not to say they can't be sized. I check and size all the time. Usually I have to send 1 set out of 20 back as they are too far out to do.
Maybe those end up on E-Bay? LOL.
