Its all custom, that's why there is no "kit". Call the manufacturer of your choice, I recommend Strange, and tell them how much your car weighs and whatever else they want to know and they'll be able to get you your shocks and springs. Everything else you have to buy as "uni-fit" and make it custom.

There ARE kits available. You DO NOT have to have it custom made. Look at the Global West web site, www.globalwest.net. They make just what you are looking for. Tubular upper and lower control arms along with coil over springs and shocks. Looks good on their web site.

Competition Engineering/Moroso sell an installation kit for coil over shocks as well as the balance of the remaining hardware. For shocks I would go with Koni double adjustable, Lamb, affco, penski or santruff. Stay away from a single adjustable, they are a pain to adjust.

Well, at least some of us got it right.

BTW, I have the front coil over kit from HAL on my GTO. I used the TRZ chrome moly arms. Very nice stuff.

Luck on my part. I was surfing one night and looked at the Global West site. I had not been there in years and bingo...new STUFF. It looks good..will be good to get feedback from someone who uses it.

I have a set of Fat Man Fabrication arms with aluma-bushings and Hotchkiss cross shafts already installed that I will sell at a SCREAMING deal if anyone is interested.

I spoke with HAL/QA1 about the coil over setup for the front end that allows for adjusting both ride height and shock valving. Nice setup, but the available spring is a progressive and the rates are to low (under 500 pounds). Guess it would work if the car was really light. Mines not.

They have two set ups. One is supposedly for "big block" cars and one for "small blocks".

I will have to call them again. Last December when I spoke with HAL the heaviest spring available for the front end coil overs was a progressive 385/485. I really wanted to use this setup, but that spring rate was too soft.
