I have a 64 pontiac catalina with a 67 350hp 400. I just recently teken my car out of storage and now it sometimes backfires through the carb on start up and on restarting after driving for a while. It doesn't happen all the time. Before I stored it last fall i put some sta-bil in the tank which I did the year before and didn't have a problem. Any thoughts or advice are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Karl

One of mine does that too. Im curious to see what the answer is.

Give me a thumbs up, tell me "Nice Car!", but for god's sake, don't call it an Impala.

Two threads going - same question. Check thread "backfire through carb" for possible answers.
