Here's the deal. I have an 85' Trans Am and nobody lists a manual brakes master cylinder for it. Does anybody know what manual master cylinder will fit this car? I am still running the stock brake setup in the car and since the car isn't quite complete I want to try run the car with them to find out if I need to change to a Wilwood or Strange setup.
Thanks Jason |

I had a ventura with power brakes and I just removed the booster and shortened the brake rod with the same master cyl. and it stoped fine. At least if you do this you can try it without buying another M/C.

I agree with William.
I did the same to my 68 Bird. It had disc brakes in front and although pedal effort was high, it stopped fine. My little 105 pound wife drove it offten and had no problems. |
