BMP:

What was the cost of all that stuff? Could you send or post pics, please?

I wish I could have seen NASCAR races of old.

Today's NASCAR "cars" are as big a joke as today's NHRA funny "cars."

I must confess that I have fallen for the 61 Bubble Top cars myself. I was at Daytona last weekend, and I found myself seeking out Bubble Tops. I only found four. Two Chevy's a Buick and an Olds. All great looking. I want one!

A couple of Bubble Tops found at Daytona. I like the Buick better than the Chev.
Did the Chev, Buick, Pontiac and Olds all have the same roof, but with different front and rear sheetmetal?

Yes basically they all had the same front and rear glass, and side glass with '59 and '60 being interchangeable among brands, including Cadillac, and '61 and '62 being interchangeable with the exception that Chevy BelAirs were still a bubbletop in '62 and everything elsa had the new
fake convertable top. But there are some differences in some cases for station wagons and others so you need to look at an interchange book before you buy a piece of glass for your car.

Furthermore, this is also true for most years in GM cars. A lot of different divisions used the same glass (and regualtors too , for that matter).
