I was wondering if there is a way to restore the spark plug looms, the metal brackets that separate the plug wires. The plastic has turned hard and is falling off.

You can strip your old ones and try using tool dip that comes in a can which is used to coat bare metal plier handles etc... this material is very similar to the original. Believe Eastwood carries it. Better yet, call PY and purchase their reproduction kits, very nice.

I used the Plasti-Dip as mentioned above, I got it from Eastwood. If you use it, thin it down a little, I think laquer thinner, it says it on the can. Straight from the can it is a little thick and puts on too much material with one dip.
