My oil leak is the rear pan gasket. I am putting in a felpro. I hear alot of talk about a neoprene seal. I also hear alot of talk about trouble with them. Heck I got more problems, my kid broke the spring on my spacebar on my keyboard. Try typing without that!
How well does a Muncie hold up behind a 455?? Again the car is 90% street and maybe 10 track. I never plan to race other than just to see how fast it is. It would be a good time to convert to an automatic. Anyone have a good tranny, torque converter and bell housing laying around? Does anyone have McLeod's phone # and Centerforce web site address?

McLeod's phone number is 714-630-2764. I have had very good experiences with them on both products and information. W/R/T a 4 speed in a 455, it will be fine until you put slicks on it. It is hard to get a 4 speed to hold up to the torque of a Pontiac for very long when you get good traction. In spite of that, it is all I will run on my GTO.
