My 73 deluxe interior has driver's seat foam that is totally roasted. I was looking at donor seat foam, but don't know what years may be interchangeable. Anyone with any suggestions on this? I see a lot of mid to later 70's 'bird seats ripped but what looks to be intact padding. I didn't know how much difference there is in the foam from year to year for deluxe seats. Some look almost identical (as far as I can tell). Thanx!

Deluxe seat from '73-'77 will work. Grand Prixs also used the same seats so you might look there too.

My 77 parts car has Deluxe seats..
The springs are shot, the frames are rusted but the foam may still be good.

I'll check out the condition of the foam.. you can have the foam for the cost of shipping if you want.

Dennis & Scott,

Thanks for the info. I had been wondering about that. I had no idea about the GP seats, either!

Scott, that would be awesome!!! Please let me know what you find on your parts car & drop me a line at kenneth.s.eifert@intel.com. BTW, does your kid still say "Da Da, vroom vroom"? I have my 17 month old all qued up with my vroom-vrooms, and he so far has a 67 GTO and a 66 Bonneville in his Hot Wheels stable! They hurt, though, when I step on 'em!
