I can't figure out why all of my 1969 to 1973 magazines are wrong?

Wait a couple of years and it will be quicker.

Ray,

Just BAD timing for my car. Almost every pass you had to be towed up to the staging lanes or towed back from you run.........nice STREET car?
I'll be at Cordova, buddy and I bet I won't be towing my RACE car to or from my run, we'll how many passes we both make!

You made how many passes at Norwalk compared to Ray, George?

I lost count of Ray's passes (like you said he was getting towed a lot).

How many passes did you make?

I never saw your car in the lanes and wanted to see it run.

It was in the lanes and I seen it on the second pass? Wasn't ready and George smartly parked it before really hurting something.

Ray looked pretty good all weekend.

Two reasons for Ray's towing:

1.) He was having charging system issues (alternator).

2.) He shuts it off on the top end to check plugs.

Ray went 8.61 @ nearly 161 MPH at Norwalk, and he made I don't know how many runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (I know of 4 on Saturday alone). And you, George? Oh that's right, your heap was on the trailer.

New Years Day and the smack talking is reaching a fever pitch (LOL). Get your ducks in a row this year, George. I'd like to see another roots blown Pontiac run well this year.

Looks like Brian just "Bitch slapped" George like he wanted!

Ray, typically has issues but you have to give the man credit for trying no matter what.

Somebody please show me Arnie's 6.80 in here someplace:

http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/7...FCETBests.html

Also, look at draglist.com for another list.

My heap went a 5.48. Twelve years ago. Never again.

Gee, you guys are killing me! My car was OFF the trailer Friday morning and didn't get loaded back up until Sunday afternoon

2003 at Norwalk I raced all weekend even WON Saturday and got down to the semi's in the Quick 16...........never got towed to or from a run and Ray was broke all weekend. I guess that makes us even......no.....wait..... I'm up on Ray because I won Super Pro on Saturday and got some prize money Sunday(3rd Place). I don't think Ray won any money at Norwalk last year. . We'll see what happens this year, because I have one up on you guys I know how QUICK I have run last year (2004).

Ray,
Gee, you won some money.......good for you. If I remember all someone had to do was qualify and make first round to get money. I won around $1,000 at Norwalk in 2003. Last year if I would have made another qualifing pass I would have qualified for the KRE Quick 16 (even with the problem I was having) but I would have ended up hurting my engine (not worth it) so I keep it in the pits.

Your car looking better and gone QUICKER then MINE.......I don't think so. But that's your opinion and everyone has one!

George, there you go again. Rounding the times.

I went to see you twice at your Motorhome to talk to you Sunday Morning. Your car was on the trailer both times I stopped by. This was in
the MORNING.

I left Norwalk at 12:00 on Sunday to come home
so how could you put it on the trailer in the afternoon?

Caught you again, George.

Nice job with the list, Rob.

Ray, George is George, Race your own race.

I apologize to the board for my obvious bragging about my job, to George.

Its just that it is the coolest job in the world, I get paid to have fun, and I love it!

Ok!

Its a terrible job spending all that money on superchargers, turbos, and inter-coolers.

It a terrible job spending all of those hours at the PRI show and SEMA talking to racers and friends.

Its a terrible job having "some" people call you on the phone and asking for help on how to go faster.

Now the reality.

I work hard at my job, I work many long hours, I spend time away from my family, I sleep in a
hotel and motel more than I would like to, I eat bad "track food" more than I should.

Would I give it up to have George's job, not in a million years.

Tom V.

As long as you are Happy George!

I have a great wife, (25 years this year) great
kids, and have "been around too" so why are we
argueing except that I don't DRIVE a race car,
(the 600 hp pool car doesn't count in my book).

It's too cold out in the garage to work on headers Jim.

Any way you sold the car 14.5 years ago to someone who knew how to drive.

Tom V.

Hope you had a nice holiday, Jim, I will call you this week.
