Can anyone with a 1970 gto send me a photo showing which leads go to which terminal on the alternator??
I took them off weeks ago, can't find the photo I took showing me which one goes where ... HELP! |

You cant mess that one up plug goes into top of alt one wire goes to back of alt on the stud assuming you have a external regulator. Some had a black ground wire which bolts to back of alt with a bolt. Disconnect battery first.

Thanks my friend, but don't doubt me. I CAN screw up!!
Seriously, I checked the harness, and there is no wire going to the ground side of the alternator. Should I ground it somehow?? |
