1: why does a 66 tripower with ac have return fuel line,and 66 tripower no ac not?

2: what colour is correct for a fuel tank,,66 gto??

The return line is to help prevent vapor lock and/or fuel perculation by returning hot fuel and vapor to the tank. The under hood temp. is higher with AC but it is a good idea for any car.

i am restoring the car now,,and i am not going to use the ac.so there there should be no problem to not use return line?
