Hi,

I am rebuilding a 1966 389 engine with 092 heads for my 1966 LeMans convertible.

I am looking for a set of headers but I do not know what to look for.

There are a lot of manufacturers on these headers.
According to their install instructions they all fit. However, I have seen that there can be alot of trouble on the install procedure.

What I would like to have are ceramic coated headers. (nice and shiny )
But, what brand should I go for?
How thick pipe header should I take?
I have 2,5" new flowmaster exhaust pots under the car, the rest of the "piping" is old and should be replaced.

Hope you are willing to help!

This was my question also, did a search, it seems Doug's are the best quality and fit, and they appear to offer these in ceramic. Do a search, you'll get a lot of info.

I have used Tubular Automotive for years. They may be smaller than some companies but they make quality products. Make sure you fit your headers, no matter what brand you choose, before you have them coated.

DOUG'S Headers fit! You can buy them direct from Doug's Headers at 909-788-4878 or call "Ace" at Pacific Performance Racing at 310-832-4596. PPR offers the best pricing in the country!

Doug's headers...hmmm...

I checked prices, these are pretty expensive!!

I have to find a way to get them shipped to the netherlands too...

Hmm.... time to ponder....

anyone got an overseas shipping company who is willing to ship my headers for me??
