I have the template for a hood tach, but my body man called and said the hole will be right in the metal webbing on the underside. Is that right, do you need to cut that bracing too? I noticed that my template looked a little old and many times copied but I would not think it that far off. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going over to look tomorrow morning.
Regards, Reed

Reed,

Check to see how much it is off center. My body man just moved my hood tach about 1/4 inch forward and it worked out not hitting the brace on the original 68 hood.

68ragtop, I believe original holes were round for the hood tachs...this one was probably done by one
of the previous owners...
