My car has a six cylinder in it now and will soon have a 400. Question is, is the half of the mount that bolts to the frame the same for the 6 and the 8 cylinder or not? Also, if not, where can I find these other than a junkyard?

The mounting brackets are different. I've seen a V-8 set routinely auctioned on e-bay, but they were outrageously expensive in my opinion -- over $100. I got a set from a parts car for my upgrade.

The reason there so high is they don't make them repo. Yes Ebay is the place to find a pair get all four pieces two frame mounts and the two small brackets underneath. LOL Bill

Thanks guys. Anybody out there made their own or have a drawing or dimensions for them? Even a good picture with through hole location related to the frame would possibly help.
