I am loaded up and ready for Michigan. Went testing in crap air and went 9.07 @ 149.98. I cleaned the car today. With real water and soap, not the spray detail crap. I even, ready for this Rex, cleaned the 3 years of rubber off of the 1/4 panels. The car looks like a show car and not a rolling test lab. If I feel like it, I might even wire my autometer playback unit. Nah, reading all of Rays hard work just makes me want to go in the fridge and get another fudge pop. I hope that all going to michigan have a safe trip.

If you limit the RPM's to 5500 or so,it might make it.

What's the chances of that?

It'll have to handle more rpm than that for the racing these two do!!! Go get 'em guys and bury a few high $$$$ chevies while you're at it.

Tom V and everyboby
I am getting pretty close I started assembling the spare motor last night, I think I can have it done and in today, but not sure as long as I dont hit any clearance issues that hold me up .

I am going to Martin with or without the car, so if you want to come on over, should be easy to find me Ill have one of the new crew shirts on Im pretty sure we will have the car but I dont think I will be able to post before we leave since it is last minute . Tom or anybody else who is planning on coming if you need to call to make sure call my cell 219-405-7269
Im putting the pistons in now, the last issue that could slow us down is checking piston to valve clearance, dut I think it will be alright. hope to see some of you guys there !

I did not make the race Ray, as I was pulling my engine and installing a new 455 street engine yesterday.
