has anyone tried these? not the super comps but the regular comp headers. i can get a coated pair for $200. if they'll fit well, i'll use them. otherwise it looks like dougs headers. BTW with the dougs headers for the $500 are they coated? i hope so. thanks

They will fit. We put a pair on my friends 65. Plan on spending some time installing them.

I used a set on my '80 formula bird, they fit well, and worked well with my mild 400. Had to reroute the trans cooling lines to get to the oil filter, but you have a manual trans to no problem.

I had them on my 76 455 Ta and they fit real well. Getting ready to put them on my 67 GTO. I expect this to be more difficult!

I ran these in a Camaro I had, the other guy is right about the coating, but they sound great. Take them and have them Powder coated or something b4 putting them in.

I have them on my gto, whatever paint the shop used has prevented all rusting occuring, that was 3 years ago.

I'm in canada and if you want I'll be selling mine shortly.

Although I believe you said you had a pair for $200 US down there.
