Goatnut-
Do you have any pictures of the 295's on the 15x7 rims? I'm interested in seeing how much they are bulging from the narrow rim. I'd also like to see picture of the front too.
Thanks

I'm running 295/50R-15 on 15 x 8 Weld Prostars out back 235/60R-15 on 15 x 7 up front 4-1/2 backspace all around. I figure that I could go to a 15 x 10 with a 5-1/2 backspace as this would move the rim equally inside and outside. On the other hand I've started to like the "Big Bologna" look on the 8" wheels.
This is a '68 convertible.

Does anyone know if 15x10 with 4.25 backspacing and a 295/50r-15 tire will fit with out rubbing the wheel lip or the wheel tub

found out the hard way on my 68. Thought i might mention that if you have 4 piston disk brakes on the front that it is hard to find a wheel that will fit without banging the caliper. I have torque thrust d's on mine now and they hit untill I ground off a little of the caliper and put a 1/8 inch spacer in between the rim and rotor.

I managed to fit 325-50-15 on 15x10 Weld Wheels. Not without hammering the inner wheelwell real bad. I had to use wheelspacers also. It has 5,5" backspacing which is a half inch too much. They do fit in the wheelhousing very nicely now.
