my hood tach quit working after my mechanic added a MSD6al to my new 455 mainly for a rev-limiting capability.then added a msd tach adapter , still no tach , ordered 5500 replacement from host, any suggestions before installing new tach? I am a novice / please be sure I am not second-guessing my mechanic,I just feel WE could use the input from someone that has prob done the same.Hood tach/72 Lemans spt convert./455 HO(new)/4sp.?? THANKS Rod
