I can't figure out how to mount the parking lights in the fender cutouts of my '62 convertible. They weren't attached when I got the car and it looks as though something is missing. The parking light assembly has a flange on top with four mounting holes and the fender cutout has a flange on top with two mounting holes, but none of then line up. Does anyone have a diagram that shows how they attach to the fender, or can someone snap a picture of theirs?

Thanks,

Tom

just looked at my light assembly. The are four holes and the first on the out side has a bolt in it to the fender then skip one then the next hole has the second bolt in. The last hole is open and in the inside of the front end. If you need a pic let me know. Pat

I took another look last night and it looks like two of the four holes are for right side mounting and two are for left side mounting. The lens doesn't fit very well in the fender opening, but maybe that's just the way they were.

I'm just finishing up some last minute details so we can drive it in the Woodward Cruise tomorrow and Saturday. It's getting pretty exciting here in the Detroit area, the roads have been crawling with classics all week.

Thanks,

Tom

the lense is not tight in the opening. My fender is a little bent along with the vallance being banged in good. The lenses are not broke like I think they should be with the amount of damage. Sounds like you will be having some fun there.
