Have come across some brand new small block chevy w/air front coil springs for a good price. My car will have a 400 (Pont.) w/o air. Was wandering if these springs would have about the right stock ride height. Have found weights of these engines in the archives to be about 570 SBC and 640 Pont. How much weight do all the AC goodies add to the front of the car? An answer of about 70# would be nice.

I just removed all the A/C stuff from my car. I'd say about 125lbs. Condensor, evaporator, compressor, brackets and hoses.

Thanks David. I' ll probably just fork over the money to pay for the ones that are made for the car.
