Hey Shawn. A lot of good advice here. I did the following:

boxed the lower contrl arms
installed air bags (about $50 from summit racing) - I ran both abt 5lbs in the driver side and 10-15 lbs in the passenger.

The addition of a rear sway bar and drag shocks may help too. Most of these mods are not that expensive. I would also try a 28" tall slick. Borrow a set from a buddy and see what diff that makes. 28" tall tire should give you more contact patch but will remove some gear. Would be an interesting test.

With your motor, I think you are going to need as much tire as you can get under it. I would try the borrowed taller tire first. And do watch the tire preassure in those ET streets. As mentioned before, they will get very lose on you!

You 60' should probably be less than 1.8 and probably in the low 1.7 range once you get it figured out.

Hope this helps some,

Kev

Here is a pic of one installed. That line hanging down is NOT the air line for the bag.

Ok... I either have CRS or inflation has hit once again

The summit catalog does not show a part # for these but they are made by air lift. I think they are part # AIR-60744. They are $66.88 a pair. They come with the lines and all the stuff you need to hook them up.

I would thing the ones listed would work for you. There is really nothing to them. I am not sure why they have all of the different part numbers. That one part # I gave you covers a bunch of years.

Darin,

I emailed you @ at the last email address you mailed me from and the mail got bounced back. The unit should be on its way here shortly. What email should I use for you? I think you emailed me from 2 or 3 different accounts. Are you in a hurry for the steering box? I will email you at the other address now.

Kev

I'd like to get it as soon as I can Kev.

I just sent another E-mail. Don't know why your reply got bounced back?!

My address is xbluehen@comcast.net

The other one was my wife's....that is the one that is linked to E-bay, that's why you got E-mail from 2 diff. accounts. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!
