Thought I would share my Pontiac Excitement with my fellow "Ropeshaft" guys! At the Redding Dragstip last night, making test runs, clicked off a 10.91 @123MPH! So I get paid compliments by an older guy, "It's nice to see one of these old Tempests nailing those Fords and Chevys!"
Then a group of young guys in the staging lanes,"Man,you're FLYING!" followed by,"What a cool car!" Needless to say, I'm still grinning this morning! And the front disc brakes hauled her down from speed. Thanks to my freinds here.Next weekend I'll be at Division 7 race at Famoso. Anyone else going?
