I'm rebuilding my Turbo 400 so I decided to cure my engine main seal leak while the tranny is out. Being that it is a 428 4 bolt main it is a 2 piece rope seal made by Fel-Pro. Is this the best way to go? I've heard of a BOP Seal???
Thanks,
JG

Read this http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/10...106055811#7106055811

then go here
http://www.bopengineering.com/pontiac_engine_acc.shtml

Have not used this yet but when I build my 428 for my '67 I will sure get one.

Thanks Axlshaft. Yesterday I bought the rope seal at Advance, it was only $5.83. I am going to consult with my mechanic and push for the BOP. The price alone tells me it is a far superior product!
