i've read previous post on timing,but i want to make sure i get this right. i'll be reinstalling my distributor w/vacuum advance after having it recurved,all in by 2500 rpm. how do i set initial and total timing? engine is a 406,holley 750 carb.,xe274 cam,msd 6a box,compression is about 8.8:1,6x heads. never did this before,so any small details will help. thanks.

Buy the Crane adjustable vacuum advance unit. It has step-by-step instructions which actually work!!
