If I take an HEI distributor and want to convert it to no vacum or centrifical advance I would take all the electrical parts out and connect the 2 wires to the MSD 7. In the process the reluctor is now free floating. If I screw it down to a screw that it lines up with (not in it's original place) will it work ok? Also take the springs and weights off of the centrifical advance will that make it a locked out distributor for racing
