Has anyone out there installed an Old Air Products Hurricane AC unit, or heard anything good or bad about them? I'v heard a lot about Vintage Air Gen II units on the formums, but nothing on the Hurricane Units. I didn't get much response on the Heating & Cooling forum, so I'll try here.
The Hurricane units, www.oldairproducts.com, are more compact than the Vintage Air units (8.5" x 8.5" x 11.5")and also have the new electric servo motors which eliminate the need for vacuum controls. It's a tossup on what to put in my 65 GTO that did not come with AC.
Anybody out there tried the Hurricane units, or heard anything good or bad about them?
