JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU PEOPLE A HEADS UP, I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH A GUY FROM FRANKS PONTIAC PARTS 760-789-0669 HE TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL BE REPRODUCING 1970 GTO FENDERS IN ABOUT 4 MONTHS THAT SHOULD BE GOOD NEWS MAYBE THE PRICES ON THE USED ONES THAT NEED SOME WORK WILL COME DOWN IN PRICE.

That is awesome news. Looks like I can wait to think about painting my 70 now in hopes of getting new fenders put on it first. If they do make them I hope they are nice quality.

I did a follow up on this and got a strange runaround. I went to franks parts website, emailed them inquiring about the fenders. They said that Dynacorn would be producing the fenders and Franks is a dynacorn vendor. So I then I went to Dynacorn website and posted a question about when they would be made and the reply was this:

'We have no plans, at this time, of reproducing 70 GTO fenders. Doesn't mean we are not going to, just means that there are no plans as of this time...Joe Parts'

Not what I wanted to hear....

that is not the answer that i am looking for either. If they do not reproduce them I refuse to pay 700 to 1200 dollrs on used fenders that i am going to have to repair and spend even more I am thing that fiberglass is the way to go?
