This duct is missing from my 65 gto. It feeds the air to the vent above the radio. I need to know what they look like so i can identify it. Anybody got a photo of one?...Anybody got one?

check e-rape they're on there regularly.

i need one also, from my understanding this piece is the same from 64-5.

you may have to buy the whole duct asm to get what you want.

There are 2 ducts that seem to match your description. The big distribution duct that is the same for '64-7 (expensive).

Then there is the smaller one that runs from the distribution duct to the center vent in your dash. I am not sure if it is different between 64/5 and 66/7

i'm in the process of putting my a/c back together. my car was stripped out for a drag car over the yrs and when i got it a std heater box was cobbed in the a/c's place.

if you have the dist duct [attaches to the heater box and runs across the lower dash] then you'll just need the duct that runs from this to the dash vent.

the 64/5 units are the same for this and the 66/7 units are a different dimension to my understanding.

the dist duct is the same from 64-7

My a/c is fully intact and it works pretty good since installing a new compressor this summer but i'm just missing the vertical duct that hooks to the middle vent. Anyone know if there pictures of this stuff in the a/c manuals and, is it 1 piece or more than that?

Here is a scan of the 64-67 AC duct work from a 67 parts book (hope the scan file not too big to load properly). I believe the part you're looking for is labeled #12. It is listed in the parts book in Group# 9.262 as DUCT, Air Outlet, Center and there is one for 64-65 and one for 66-67. The 64-65 piece is part# 9773795 and the 66-67 piece is part# 9782265. Sorry I don't have an actual photo.

My car was also stripped at some point for racing purposes. It is missing the entire lower portion of the scan. The vent balls are still there, but there is no duct work leading to them. Is it possible to find this section and if not, are there any aftermarket products available? Thanks for info.

I have some of this stuff. the 64-67 AC heater boxes I can't find anyone who wants them, but the duct work is always in demand. Never have found anyone even looking for the evaporator. funny how this works.

Perhaps an evaporator would be a good thing to have too. Both my 65's are A/C cars and the hardtop has no evaporator, in fact the only things I can identify are the vent balls and the bracket for the compressor.
