Default Convertible side window weatherstrip replace

How do I replace side window weatherstrip - small rear seat window. Do I pull off chrome strip off window to replace rubber or do I just slide rubber out
Thanks Eric

Assuming you are referring to the vertical weatherstrip on the front of the quarter window, it just pulls down. It was held into the chromed molding with a bit of weatherstrip glue.

My originals are rotted and tough to compare to new piece. There is a tab that sticks out bottom when slide rubber in window.
Where does this attach to

the bottom "hook" in the rubber just sort of sits there, since repro's aren't as rigid there you might want to glue them

Regular blue Dawn dish soap helps the new rubber slide easier as you push, pull and coax the new seals into position. Lube up the new seals generously with the dish soap.
